Lancer for AGE

Bring Lancer's mecha combat and crunchy tactical action to the 3d6 of Green Ronin's AGE System!

This is an exercise in game design and mechanics for the team. A bit wider and more complex in scope than the previous project, the past few months have been spent hammering out changes and new rules to adapt Lancer into a different medium of play. Using 3d6 to resolve attacks and tests, combat becomes slightly more predictable, but rules created to bridge the adaptation change the typical combat considerations.

Attacks hit more often, but cover is more important. Mechs move faster and pilots on the ground have far more to do, even if it is run away!

On top of being practice, it's also a lead-up into the Lancer: Recontact project which is going to be adapted from the AGE System. When that game is being worked on, expect regular updates here.

Notably, this game is incomplete. The rules are in the final stages, but for now we have the character creation ready to go.
